My kids have gone to Huffman during their elementary school career except for a couple years we spent out of state. They take the curriculum and make it fun for the students. They foster creativity and encourage students to stretch and enrich their minds. The parental and business involvement is much greater than I have found at other schools. My children and I have found Goldenview to be a great learning community all the way around! Goldenview prepares their students well for high school! I wish these teachers could move with the students to the high school level!Parent Review6y ago

"South side but still diverse enough to make it feel real. Limited to no homeless or vagrants and for anchorage that’s great!! I like our community and feeling of safety. Kids play in yards and street and they are safe. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 15 years. It is a safe, well established neighborhood with older, custom built homes, with residents who take beautiful care of their lawns and homes. The area is lovely, and walkable both for exercise, for kids to go to school, etc. Holidays are my favorite, driving home and seeing each house decorated for the season. I also love the view of the mountains from my back deck. ;)"

"Great neighborhood and friendly people. Well kept yards, very nice houses with beautiful trees. Holidays, and the summers are especially nice for us. I like the way property values hold up also. A very good mix of the generations in our neighbors."

"I have lived here for 16 years. Great neighborhood. Kids play, great place to take walks with your family and pets. Fencing keeps the street safe from outside traffic. Walking distance to Huffman business park. Love it here."
