Trulia Breaks Into Hitwise Top 20 for Most Visited Real Estate Websites

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Trulia.com, the Internet's
leading real estate search engine, announced today that the company is now
one of the top 20 most visited U.S. real estate sites on the Internet,
according to the latest data released by online competitive intelligence
service company Hitwise. Since January 2007, Trulia has climbed 23 places
on the Hitwise list to become the 18th most-visited real estate website for
the month of September.
"Our steady growth over the past nine months underscores that,
especially in an uncertain market, serious home buyers crave the kind of
unbiased information and advice that they can find easily and instantly on
Trulia," said CEO Pete Flint.
Trulia continues to build a dedicated community of users by bringing
together the information that consumers need to make the best possible real
estate decisions -- from home listings, comps, and statistics to local
information, trends, and insider opinions.
Among the features that continue to draw traffic to Trulia is Trulia
Voices, a Q&A forum that lets consumers exchange anecdotal information and
answers about real estate with other home buyers and sellers and
professionals in real time. Questions on Trulia Voices receive a response
within 20 minutes on average, pointing to the dedication of the site's
users. According to a recent Trulia survey, 81% percent of Trulia users are
looking to buy a home in the next year, while 46 percent are looking to buy
in the next six months.
The Hitwise real estate category focuses on residential and commercial
real estate and property services including agency websites, real estate
databases, classified listings, as well as services catering to home
buyers, sellers or renters. Hitwise data is based on a sample of 10 million
U.S. Internet users.
