"I have lived here for 11 months. The area isn't the best. But they are building new apartments and the property value in the area is going up "

"I drive everywhere I go. I take my son across town to school and drive to work five days a week. I like convenience of the highway being so near to the neighborhood. "

"Quite neighborhood with young professional, retired military and generational families. Proximity to Pearl & Downtown ideal. St Patrick’s church bells on Sunday and daily base bugles make it an extra special place to live. Plenty of trees and sidewalk to enjoy as well."

"Its a fairly friendly neighborhood, not too much chaos about. i like it here. my biggest issue is that the streets could be better lit at night but otherwise its a safe neighborhood. "

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my two children are currently in the upper elementary class at St. Paul's Episcopal Montessori School. They have attended this school for the past 4 years. This review could be many pages long, for the impact of this school on my family has been overwhelmingly positive. So I'll try to keep it straightforward.St. Paul's supports children in a holistic sense - emotionally, spiritually, and scholastically. From the Head of School, to teachers, to parents, one feels a sense of peace, community, and acceptance. Many of the teachers and staff have been there well over a decade, even two decades for some. My son and daughter are autonomous, self driven, and enthusiastic about learning. This being said, educating oneself about the Montessori Method is important to gauge if this is a right fit for your child. We began our children in the pre-primary classroom, thus the progression from pre-primary, to primary, to lower elementary, and then to upper elementary was natural for them. For those coming from a more traditional system, our children do take a test, and perform well above grade level. The parents that have multiple aged children have told us, for their kids who are now in high school, they do extremely well. I don't worry about bullies, I don't worry about "bad" friends, I don't worry about testing, and I don't worry about my children. The teachers are well taken care of, and are given free reign to individualize learning, and maximize a child's potential. All you need to do, is tour the school, and you will witness for yourself, the enriching environment of St. Paul's.Parent Review3y ago - St Paul's Episcopal Montessori School
