5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst let me say this...I am a decorated veteran that have had my children attend schools from Asia, Europe, and America. Every school showed their front doors open to the children... JC has always had the children dropped off in the rear like they're riffraff, especially now that we have the new addition. Remember this they are more important than the staff... One day at least one of those children will more than likely give their life for this country. Show whose important, role out the red carpet, and open your new Front doors. Perception is everythingParent Review9y ago1 Reviews - David Youree Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou would think for a Christian school, the staff would be attentive, compassionate, and understanding, yet all I have seen is the complete opposite.I have seen staff man handle the children, grabbing their wrists and yanking them whichever way they see fit. I’ve seen children get berated and talked down to when a child advocated for themselves. Children are punished when they might refuse something or ask questions as to why a rule might be in place. I have seen the lunch person threaten to take away all of a child’s toys from home, this same lady also told another child to shut up and also yells at the children. The staff does not seem to consult with parents when moving children around rooms, and if any child acts “out of line” they are scolded and punished for it instead of being met with love, compassion, or kind explanations of why certain rules are in place. It genuinely made me sick to see these children get treated this way and while also being preached to about kindness and love. Some children have even been yelled at for having accidents, as if the children can control that. These kids have little room to advocate for themselves or grow or learn at their own place. If a teacher is in a bad mood, they take it out on their children, yelling at them and getting mad at them for every little thing. As a “Christian” school, the things they do is inherently against Jesus’s teachings. It would not be a surprise to me if most of these kids end up with trauma from how badly these teachers treat them- and eachother.Parent Review1mo ago70 Reviews - Community Christian Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll three of our children attended CCDS. They had great experiences while learning so much! All teachers were welcoming and open with praise as well as corrections when needed. When it was time to start Kindergarten, our Pre-K teachers were very informative about the private school side of CCDS versus our local magnet choices. The office staff is unmatched with information and compassion! I marked Special Education as a 3/5 only because I did not have any experiences with Special Education.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Lancaster Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Lancaster, and we truly could not have chosen a better school for our daughter. She’s in kindergarten, and from day one, we’ve felt that this is a true partnership between the school and our family. The communication, support, and care have been exceptional. One thing that has amazed me is how many teachers and administrators know my daughter by name. It speaks volumes about the intentional, close-knit community they’ve created.I also love that she has Bible class every day. The faith-centered foundation is such a gift. From the moment you step onto campus, you can feel the joy and warmth—it’s a welcoming place where children are truly known and loved.Parent Review3mo ago10 Reviews
