Administration are beyond childish. I’ve been bullied as a parent on multiple occasions. From admin waking away from my vehicle refusing to assist my children because he/she was asked a question that she didn’t want to provide an answer for . They’ll harass you while you’re dropping your children off along with taking to you like you’re a child. I feel so violated as a parent and with dealing with a large class of urbanized workers you most definitely when encounter a tag team situation. My children enjoy going to school and learning everyday.

Hattie Cotton had a Great Open House tonight!

Awesome School. My Grandson attends here since pre-k and he has had great teachers every year. Very personable and excellent and working with parents. Ms. West is a great pre-k teacher that I still communicate with today and my grandson is in 2nd grade. She still checks on and supports her students years later.

Not the best. The kids here tend to fight a lot, and the education isnt bad but isnt inherently the best. Not much is done regarding fights and unfair treatment aswell which is very disappointing considering how a lot of the kids there behave bad. The school community tries its best to be decent but a lot of the children and their families ruin it by behaving like uncivilized hooligans. And the school is trying to become an art school but the theater and music department is severely lacking.

There’s a lot I could say regarding the harmful religious teachings of this institution, but I’ll keep it short and focus on less subjective aspects of my experience. I experienced the worst racial discrimination of my life between roughly the end of sixth grade until I graduated here. Not a single faculty member ever stepped in and did anything about it. In fact, I was told that I was the one bullying. I wouldn’t with this experience on anyone, but if you’re not white, please don’t send your kids here. They will have a bad experience and no one will help them.
