Great experience with my child at this school while on an IEP. Staff was dedicated to finding resources to invest academic success. I really like the fact that the staff is flexible. Highly recommended.

We moved from out of state where the previous school we were at, my son was being bullied. This made us all apprehensive to starting a new school..However, I couldn't say MORE POSITIVE things a out Drayton Hall! My kids love it, the teachers are amazing about communicating and I love the community! I feel safe knowing there's an officer and he greets the families every morning!

This school was excellent from kindergarten to 5th grade graduation. The teachers were so easily contacted and approachable. Every teacher kept in weekly personal communication with me to improve my son's education. I was distraught to see Mrs Middleton leave and thought the school may go downhill, but Mrs Conner proved me wrong. I couldn't possibly recommend this school more than I do. The drama teacher is so fantastic that my son got into SOA. Your child will be lucky to go to ARCAE.

My son has been at MCS since he was 3 years old and is now an 8th grader. I am a CCSD teacher and researched schools extensively before initially placing my son at a local private Montessori school. At 3 years old he won a lottery spot and I jumped at leaving the private school for a public Montessori school. Every single day my son has been at MCS has been a positive one. He absolutely loves school. He feels accepted, cared for and is academically challenged. This school is like a family. The teachers are Montessori and SC DOE certified. My son is held to high academic and behavioral expectations. We made the best decision leaving private Montessori and moving to MCS. If you can get in, do it.
