4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are wonderful and do so much for the kids. My kids are excited to go to school everyday. They do alot of hands on projects and go on lots of field trips. They are even taking their 6th grade students to Canada!Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Riverview East Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Riverview East Academy. My child is a 7th grader. So far, we love this place. My daughter is on the Volleyball team. The Principle, Teachers, Coaches and the Security are amazing. They have all made me, my child and my family feel welcome like we have been there for years. I also love the fact that there is a zero tolerance for Bullying and Principle Wolf and her staff make sure that the children stay safe and focused on learning. So happy to be apart of the Riverview East family.Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children attended this school for many years. We decided to part ways with GSCM after a student made a threat to bring a gun to school and shoot students in the adolescent program. The initial reaction of administration was to do nothing and bring the student back to school after one day at home. Fortunately, several families escalated the situation to point that the school had to intervene. This is a fringe, Catholic school. It is not governed by the Diocese of Cincinnati. Therefore, the principal and school board are at liberty to make decisions that may not be in the best interest of students. Several decisions made in the past years protected board members and their children, despite them engaging in bad behaviors. One board member posted a letter that contained racist and conspiracy theorist-laden information and was not removed from his position on the board. I am saddened by the deterioration of this school since the founder, Dan Teller, retired. He was a stand-up guy ,who at one time created a sweet, nurturing Montessori. That is not the case anymore.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - St Cecilia Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWho is this school for? Families in which mothers/fathers take an active/positive part in raising their children. If you are reading this review then I assume you are a grownup who takes your job seriously (discipline, setting limits, educating, and all that good stuff, for physical and intellectual and spiritual development of your children). If I am correct, and you are that kind of person, then you will find a great source of support in St. Cecilia Elementary School!!! Mike Goedde the principal is one of the good ones, for sure! He understands what children need in order to truly thrive, and he is absolutely committed to his mission. St. Cecilia as a parish has a heart of gold; it's a beautifully faithful community, really centered around God. Who might want to pass on this school? Those mothers/fathers who are not open to the teachings of the Catholic church.Students get a period of religious education every single school day, plus they attend Mass once/week. I think sometimes problems come up when parents consider themselves "tolerant" rather than open. Feelings of hostility or defensiveness have a tendency to surface, on the part of those "tolerant" parents, when cultural differences arise.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - St. Ursula Villa School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter transferred to St. Ursula Villa this past year (2023) from another parochial school. The transition has been extraordinary and beyond what we ever imagined. Marta Runnels warmly welcomed us to the school and helped guide and lead us to our decision to transfer to our daughter. We asked so many questions and she was so kind and compassionate through the entire process! Our experience across the board has been incredible. From the leadership, starting with Principal Vance, the entire faculty team, and especially her classroom teacher(s) Mrs. Smith and Ms. Hass, to the after-care team led by Ms. Scherer. It has all blown us away. We immediately noticed a difference in our daughter's communication, social and intellectual development. The curriculum, specials and overall educational instruction has made such an impact on her! We are beaming to see her confidence and the pride in her work be so important to her. We also appreciate the ability to be involved with family projects, classroom and school-wide events. It is very evident that St. Ursula Villa's community within the faculty, and the amazing families we have met, have the best chemistry and unity a parent can ever ask for in their child's educational journey. We are so grateful to be a part of the St. Ursula Villa family. We are excited to watch and support our daughter's continued progress and development with SUV!Parent Review2y ago31 Reviews - Cincinnati Waldorf School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was enrolled in the 2- day preschool program. During snack time he choked on a bit of apple. The instructor had to perform back blows and life saving measures. I was not called. My husband was not called. And only after my son told me did I find out about the incident. The teacher brushed it off. It was only later after multiple biting incidents that I was informed of how serious the choking incident was. No incident report had been filed until insisted they file one. She did not even send my son to the nurse to get checked out. The biting incidents and the choking incidents were never reported to the administration. The school is unsafe. I would not send my child there. We removed him after these issues.Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Cardinal Pacelli Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have loved this school for our kids so far! The teachers are very approachable and understanding, but for when necessary! The community is wonderful- plenty of opportunities to get parents together. The parent volunteer and involvement percentage is high. Small classes- which help with more focused instruction!Parent Review3y ago20 Reviews
