"You don't get what you pay for here. These apartments are not well kept. They do patch jobs to each apartment and the walls and doors look deplorable. Laundry mats are always filthy and no private hook ups in your apartment. Good luck contacting office staff after hours. Utilies are included with your rent and they increase with no explaination. One month you may pay 13 something and the next 15 something all due to increase in utilities. There is also a pest problem that in the 4 years I have lived here they've failed to control. If you can find a better place to live then go else where. "

"There is no park or walking track in this neighborhood so if they have dogs they’re mostly going to be walking on asphalt"

"There are none, except for memorials following shootings. The area could be nice; the Minneapolis College of Arts & Design and Minneapolis Institute of Arts are both assets to the community, but crime and homeless people pitching tents in front yards have turned this once nice and quiet neighborhood to nothing but discuss and fear. "

"Great downtown area. There are often events on Broadway twice a week. Including the Farmers Market and Night Market (Adult farmers market). Great restaurants and bars. Lots and lots of parks, great Small city feel."

"Astor is, without doubt, one the BEST areas to live within the Greater Green Bay Metro area. It is still in town, less than five minutes from major grocers. Everything you need is less than five minutes away, including Children’s Hospital and one of the best regional heart surgery hospitals in the nation, Bellin Health. "

"The public transportation is very easy going to downtown StP or downtown MSP (East & West) or Roseville Mall or Grand Ave (North & South) It’s quiet and lifetime owners of homes. A mix of races and little crime compared to other areas around."

"Dogs are very welcome but the aggressive owners that rub off on these beautiful animals shouldn't be whether they have a so called aggressive breed or 🚫 not, keep it moving. They are taught to be aggressive they don't come out that way! Everyone love your dog today and remember they are very much part of the family, they will return that love 10 fold for free. "

"I have lived in this area for over 15 years. Overall it's safe to walk at night. It's quiet with the occasional weekend party, fireworks or loud vehicle passing through. It's close to shopping and centrally located. A few properties could use a little TLC but it's a good neighborhood to renovate a house. Many people have and walk dogs. A few inconsiderate people do not pick up after their pets. Overall it's a good place to buy a home and an O.K. place to live."
