"Worst schools around. Get out while you can. Homeless right outside the Key. Everything closing down."

"20 minutes by Highway to work with minimal traffic. I drive to a popular area for work for people who work"
  • Trulia User
"They would like it because there’s not much traffic so they can walk the dogs anywhere. Everyone walks their dogs on a leash and are respectful of other dog owners."
  • Trulia User
"A quiet place to live yet very close to downtown with all that it has to offer. The people are very friendly."

"There are good parts here and bad parts here. Choose wisely. Some neighborhoods are rough. I don't know anything about the schools around"
  • Kristin E. P.
"So close to everything but tucked away and quiet! Love it here! Have been here over 3 years now- we see it growing and getting better every day!"
  • Trini S. U.
"the area is close to the water, and takes no time to get downtown or the beach. Older houses that need love."
  • Lindsay B.
"I live in Waterside and this is more of a singles and couples place. Outside of the gates, it’s great on one street and the next is drugs and poverty. I definitely think Coquina Key is a good investment and I see progress with homes being bought up and replaced with nice homes. Just depends if you want to feel uneasy about some streets while you wait for things to clean up. "

"Two dog parks in the neighborhood (one small and one large dog park). Lots of space to run in the dog parks."
  • Jacqueline R.
"constant management patrol , always willing to help. it's a great place for no at & kayak owners. great community atmosphere "
  • Mark T
"Dog owners will love the two dog parks in the neighborhood park. A small dog section and a large dog section."
  • John28smith
"Everyone minds they’re own business. I’ve had no issues living here... you can sneak things in Easley "
  • MM
"Easy access to downtown and the interstate. Beautiful waterfront neighborhood with free boat ramp. Close to St. Pete Beach."
  • Debiversen
"Easy commute up 4th... straight into town and never a hassle. Hit 275 right from 4th, only a few minutes away. "

"I lived here for about 6 months before a job transfer but I lived in the area for my entire life and Ive always wanted to be on this island. It was wonderful quiet and no issues at all. Safe and kids played around a lot but my child was too young to play with them so the park near by was a lifesaver."
  • Linda M.
"We've lived in Waterside South on Coquina Key for two years & think it's a hidden gem. Beautiful water, quiet neighborhood, fantastic neighbors & well kept homes. Love it and so happy to have found it,"
  • Livestudiodesignofficial
"I just live here for about 6 months. It’s got a bad rep but after being here it’s not that bad. I’d recommend to anyone. "
  • Kimmarkfamily
"Coquina Key is the most affordable island in FL. Great proximity to downtown st pete and the best beaches in FL. Love the neighborhood park and water views|access through boat ramp. "
  • Ayram34
"Gated community safe in the pocket of coquina key. Very safe, friendly neighbors and amazing views. "
  • Forrest W.
"it's nice and friendly here. it can seem a tad over priced but it's what you have to pay to live in a decent neighborhood in Florida. over all I like it here and it saddens me I may have to move. "
  • Chris C. r.
"I have lived here for over 40 years and the crime rate has increased substantially. Kids play basketball in the streets and DO NOT move out of the way when cars approach them."
  • MS
"The views are breathtaking. Just beautiful. The complex has wonderful tropical landscaping and is very safe. 24 hour security at gate and roving the property. After living here for almost six years I still get excited when I see dolphins leap out of the water in front of my patio. The island of Coquina Key has improved over these past years, very few empty homes, and people are putting care into their homes and property."
