Platt Park is a Denver neighborhood about four miles south of downtown and just northwest of Denver University.

This area was first developed in the 1880s as the town of South Denver, and many of its homes are more than a century old.

The 1882 Fleming Mansion was built as the residence for South Denver’s first mayor. Its grounds are now a neighborhood park.

S Pearl Street is a retail hub with a historic look left over from Platt Park’s days as a streetcar suburb.
