Sun City is a suburban neighborhood in the city of Menifee, about 25 miles south of Riverside.

It was developed in 1962 as a master-planned retirement community for seniors.

Much of Sun City is still subdivided into communities for people 55 and over.

The housing in these communities is mostly older ranch-style homes and mobile homes.

When Sun City was incorporated into the city of Menifee in the 1980s, new developments were opened up to non-seniors.

These newer developments, made up of larger, two-story houses, brought an influx of younger families to Sun City.

Newport Road, the neighborhood’s main drag, is home to several large shopping centers.

There are also fast food restaurants and chain stores along Sun City Boulevard.

Most of Sun City’s amenities are targeted at seniors, but there are also a few neighborhood parks with playgrounds.

The Cherry Hills Golf Course is one of three courses that are open to the public.
