Cuesta-by-the-Sea

We found this school when we moved to Los Osos. My child was enrolled at a private classical school and when we switched over, we noticed immediate and positive changes particularly with our child's relationships with their teachers and the students. They felt held- supported and safe- and as a family we felt it too. Student engagement is high- the kids here love going to school and love learning. They are being taught how to be in a productive community, problem-solve, be self-starters, all in addition to a beautiful arts program woven into a challenging academic program that meets each child where they are and stimulates growth. They are outside, learning to garden, going on hikes, practicing Spanish, begin playing a string instrument in 4th grade, and so much more. We are so lucky we found this school!
