Most of the reviews here are old. The school now has a new principal who was a former teacher and who is excellent. This is very much a community school and I am incredibly impressed with their focus on social emotional growth and positive behavior. My child loves school and so far every teacher is excellent. There is also a very active parent support between an active PTA that provides lots of community activities for families, free parenting classes, and a resource staff that connects families to services (veggie boxes, free hike helmets, etc..) I also have to commend the afterschool programs. The one our child goes to is top notch and the staff are very professional and wonderful with the kiddos.

Hesitated to post this, but the bottom line is that a couple of standout teachers do not make a good school. I regret sending my children here.

I am so impressed with St. Lawrence Academy! Our daughter went here and now we have 4 grandchildren attending. The classes are small enough that each child has the attention needed - especially with the added help of aides and parents. It is a fun, though challenging, academic atmosphere where the basics are emphasized along with strenuous activities, such as their Fractured Olympics day and Science Camp. I strongly recommend St. Lawrence Academy to anyone who wishes a safe, friendly, strong academic learning environment for their children.

We've had a wonderful experience with Pacific Sands Academy. Truly individualized and the support for students and families is top notch. I recommend PSP to anyone seeking an alternative to the typical high school or any age, really.
