Great experience with elementary school teachers and techniques.

I feel we have a team full of wonderful teachers and aids that care about our students future. I am proud to be apart of souh bay elementary school.

This school deserves a higher rating. The teachers are great. The leadership from the current admin is commendable. The students are doing very well and the neighborhood is safe and fun. The principle meets us at our car in the morning, opens the car door for our child and knows each student by name.I've never experienced a better elementary school. My kid has made it through higher rated schools in other parts of the state. Now we are blessed to be here. We would never trade Cutten Elementary for those!

The teachers really care about Grant and their students! They host a few family nights every year with different themes, like holiday craft, book fun, math and STEAM. Grant is the smallest elementary school in Eureka City Schools with about 225 students, so every student gets individualized attention. The teachers are all trained in Art Integration in the classrooms and they have some music in every grade with instruments in 4th/5th. Could do more hands-on science, but the focus has been on Math and Language Arts. I have seen a lot of improvement in the past 3 years my student has attended.
