Camelback East is a Phoenix neighborhood about six miles northeast of downtown and just west of Scottsdale.
The name comes from Camelback Mountain, which is shaped like the hump and head of a kneeling camel.
Some of the neighborhood’s homes sit up on rocky slopes and have views across the city.
Others are in the flats, with lawns and swimming pools.
Camelback East is made up of many smaller neighborhoods, including Arcadia and Biltmore.
