Reed Park is a neighborhood in Mesa, 21 miles east of downtown Phoenix.
The area was settled in the 19th century by Mormon pioneers. These days, it’s a suburban neighborhood popular with first-time buyers.
Many of Reed Park’s homes were built in the 1970s and have carports instead of garages.
Yards are spacious and sit along wide streets with sidewalks.
At the center of the neighborhood, Reed Skate Park is surrounded by basketball courts, grassy fields, and a playground.
The area is primarily residential, but restaurants, cafes, and bars line its main streets.
A nearby light rail station and U.S. 60 provide access to Tempe, Phoenix, and other cities in the metro area.
