This is a 1.5 acer lot in Shawnee land Winchester, VA. with a septic tank and electric allready installed ready to build. Parts of this property have been cleared. Must sell this summer. We are up here from florida now and will be here until Oct 1. Possible trade or financing. 8 ft by 19 ft metal storage container at bottom of property included. Directions from state hwy 37, bypass around Winchester to 50 west about 5 mi. to Back Mountain rd (if you cross tracks you went about 200 yds to far) turn left go about 3 mi. to Rosenberger Rd (Citgo station and Tom's market on corner) turn right to Shawnee Land entrance which is Tomahawke trail, turn left. Follow Tomahawk all the way around go thru resort area about 2.5 mi. to inter- section of Tamahawke and Wood Springs go straight where Tomahawke turns into gravel. About 2/10' ths mi. further on right where telephone poles go down hill is start of top 1.5 acers. There are boulders in front of driveway. From the telephone poles down is about 400 ft, to corner of Willow & Hickory. Across the top on Tomahawke is about 100 ft. Willow on bottom fronts the property 200 ft. There is a much quicker way to get there butt hard to explain. To get out Keep going on Tomawake about 2 mile back to Back mountain Rd.and turn left. When we purchased this property we had plans on building a summer home up here which would be about 1 hr from all our relatives. Things change as you get older and now we want sell it. Tax value is $32,500 taxes are about $350 per year. Homes our going up on a steady climb. I have been told by the manager there are about 14 homes under construction. Alot of 1/2 acer lots can be bought for as little as $1000 but you can not get a septic tank in. Ground will not perk. They say serwer is going thru some areas in 20 yrs or so. Ours had perk test done many years back and we were grandfathered in. Electric was there but pole got knocked down during storm 2 yrs ago.
