10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had four children at Harrisburg Elementary since 2018, and I'm about to have a fifth child there this next school year. I cannot say enough good things about this school! The administration is absolutely fantastic. Communication is a breeze, there's a lot of opportunity for parent involvement. My kids have great things to say about their teachers and their peers. The curriculum is challenging, several of my children participate in the AIG advanced program. My ADHD child had great teachers who poured into him, and the administration took great care to make sure we had a 504 plan in place. The security at the school is great! Officer Carter is onsite everyday and he greets all the children as they arrive! This school is truly a blessing to our family, we have never had a discouraging interaction!Parent Review6mo ago12 Reviews - Hickory Ridge High

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe really like this school, they address discrimination and bullying appropriately and thus there is not much of it. They take academics seriously. Dont based your decision on the scores above as you see they rank 8 in every category with exception of student improvement, at the same time, all students are off the charts college readiness and testing. In context that just means that the students enroll at a remarkable level and regress, but their regression is way above the norm. This is common with great high schools that have even greater middle school feeders.Parent Review3mo ago20 Reviews - Hickory Ridge Middle

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKids here are extremely rude, staff do nothing about bullying reports, complaints, or really anything at all. My kids have gone here and complained multiple times that the peers there are not very kind and often get in heated fights. Teachers are not very respectful either and neither is the the principle. Nothing there is factual all disrespectful and counselors are extremely numb in the head. Do not recommend this terrible school!!Parent Review3mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near Zzzz.

"You definitely need a car to get a around Charlotte. There is transportation, but I would not recommend using it as there are safety concerns I would recommend having your own vehicle and driving."

"This is a good neighborhood. The neighbors are very nice and the area is pleasant. There is a heavy flow of traffic in the morning and afternoon but other than that it’s pretty normal. I’ve been here for 8 months and I enjoy the area. "

"Dog friendly, always see people out walking their dogs and there is a dog park at Enderly Park that isn’t always super busy like Frazier dog park. Just wish the sidewalks were maintained a bit more in some areas."
