9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school used to be THE school in the Gulf Breeze area. However, a change in administration has lead to the decline of the school. If you are new to the area, people will tell you "Gulf Breeze has the number one school in the state". False. They are the top in the county. GBE is currently ranked at 137 statewide. Still not bad, but its far from the best there is. OBE is actually ranked higher, and is where I would send my kids. It is a much warmer, friendlier place. Just do your own research in regards to which school is best for you kids.Parent Review7y ago7 Reviews - Gulf Breeze Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m going to get my point across. in this school the teaching is excellent and so are the teachers but there is a problem. bullying and cyber bullying is not taken seriously in gulf breeze middle school. coming from a student that graduated both gbms and gbhs the bullying i endured was so bad, as a kid i became bulimic and attempted su1c1de over 3 times while i was enrolled in that school. mental health was not taught enough and bullying awareness posters are not going to help. please make a bully take accountability for their actions or else they are not going to grow as a person.Other Review1y ago4 Reviews - Gulf Breeze High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur buses never here on time we're always late to school. Our teachers count us tardy for no reason the teachers are disrespectful towards student students and other staff. And most teachers cannot teach.Student Review1y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near YALE CT.

"There are dog poop stations within the city boundaries. Some neighbors probably don’t like dogs that poop in their yards. "

"Plenty of spaces to walk dogs and most people pick up after their furry friends. Can easily find parks and public places for them to socialize."

"I can usually avoid hwy 98 by cutting through the neighborhood back roads. It may take a little longer but it’s worth it to avoid the traffic. "

"Gulf Breeze schools are some of the best in the state of Florida. Gulf Breeze, for the most part, is a very affluent area and has an extremely low crime rate. The beaches in this area are some of the most beautiful in the state, in my opinion. The only drawbacks to living here are the threat of hurricanes (this is a very hurricane-prone area) and the high insurance rates that result. Also, Pensacola Beach has become quite the tourist trap and beach traffic is heavy in the Spring & Summer. "

"Traffic here is horrible! Only one main road between cities. Lots of accidents and fatalities on the highway here. I’ve lived here for 40 years and its overcrowded here now."

"The only downside is there are no sidewalks to actually walk your dogs on. And people tend to speed up and down the streets. "

"We get spoiled living in paradise. Sometimes we complain about our “commutes” but I’ve never had to drive more than 30 minutes to go to work. Traffic on the main thoroughfares can seem busy but relative to any modern major city, the highways here are quaint. "
