The administration allows students and staff to bully other students without being reprimanded. The nice, well behaved kids are the outcasts and the bullies are the ones that are the staff favorites. The school should be condemned because of the condition of the facilities the kids are expected to learn in. The only lighting in some bathrooms is just a lightbulb. Some toilets are inoperable. My children come home hungry most days because the lunchroom staff will not give them much to eat (ie. 3 or 4 chicken nuggets and a water). There have been many complaints from students that the food in the lunchroom is often not cooked all the way or raw/cold. These complaints are never addressed. The administration at Chester ISD has no concern for the wellbeing of the kids in their care!
