7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student in the high school, I personally would recommend this school. Ive met the assistant principal and the principal more than a few times, and they are so kind to students. So far this year ive seen ZERO fights, reporting bullying works faster then you think and administration is super respectful when coming to reporting people. I would love to tell yall how much the SRO saved me from seniors in the bathroom. Students here are pretty friendly, some are quiet , but some will get really friendly with other students. The classes here blew me away!! I love cooking classes, aviation classes, engineering classes, and more. You will meet new people if you join clubs, people there are super friendly and chill.Student Review7mo ago7 Reviews - Wallenpaupack Area Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAcademically this school is great. My child has excelled so far at this school, and has had the opportunity to be a part of the great music program at this school. This school also offers the chance for students to be involved in sports in the 7th grade, which my daughter is very excited for. The only reason I did not give this school 5 stars is because of the lack diversity. Because of this my child has had the unfortunate experience of having some of the white students use a racial slur towards her while on the school bus and also racist jokes are sometimes shared on the school bus. Although the school bus is not the "school" building itself, the lack of diversity or at least the exposure to other cultures makes for unwanted and uncomfortable situations for students of other backgrounds besides whites, and this in turn does affect the school experience overall. The discipline method at this school does seem good and fair from my experience so far, I have not felt ignored when I have shared any concerns. I am hoping that as the students get older and form bond with other students of different ethnic backgrounds, that these incidents would occur less.Parent Review9y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near Withheld S Request.

"I’ve seen and witnessed a real sense of community while living here. Children are polite and enjoy their neighborhood as the wonderland it truly is. Halloween was fun even with an intense storm trying to discourage celebrants. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner I expect these events too will be enjoyable. This is a great time to buy and live in this area of the Poconos. I have no regrets..."

"I moved here around Labor Day 2019. The people I’ve met have all been very nice and welcoming. APCP has really come back as a primary place to live. Home owners take pride in their properties and their home value continues to increase. This is a great time to purchase and enjoy the best of The Poconos. No regrets..."

"It’s unique in that it doesn’t have an environment like the city. It’s a more country like setting with plenty of trees, dirt roads and local wild animals like turkeys, deers, rabbits, skunks etc...it’s so beautiful in the spring and summer with foliage and in the winters it can be brutal but it’s also a winter wonderland when it snows."

Many attraction and one of the largest Aquariums in America, to be built, will be coming here soon along with many eateries and other amenities to follow. "
