10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wish I never transferred here. Many students here are rich and spoiled and lacked empathy. They have no interest outside of studying and doing extracurriculars for college applications. Many of the students likes to make fun of students who takes less rigorous classes and worse grades than them. The teachers are fine. The food is horrible.Student Review2mo ago18 Reviews - Argonaut Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of our kids attended argonaut around 2015. It was a school with rich curriculum and encouraging adaptive learning. My kids were a bit advanced in math (not the type through outside training), and the teachers allowed them to skip the in-class work and used a different textbook to keep on their paces. The English teacher used her own pocket to subscribe to extra reading materials for the students, and encouraged my daughter to continue using it even after she advanced from her class. The parent engagements were great. Many traditional activities including singing Christmas carols for the neighbors (I hope it is still there after the pandemic).Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Foothill Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a joke. All the nice things they have are funded by parents in the community from computers to certain classes. The standards are low and the teachers are box checkers who don’t care about your kids or personalizing the teaching. As long as your kid can pass the very low CA standards, they couldn’t care less. The school leadership is pathetic and backs up teachers and their poor decision making. There is no accountability from teachers or the principal. We had Bosco and he’s interested in just making his teachers happy. Try giving feedback - he doesn’t care, and will defend his teachers even when they make poor choices. He is a bully to parents - won’t let them speak and doesn’t accept feedback - and this school allows bullying as per previous comments. Also: why does the diversity of the teachers not reflect the diversity of the community? Ask yourself who is making the hiring decisions and what their objective is.Parent Review1mo ago19 Reviews - Redwood Middle School

"The shared sense of pride in our beloved town, from its small town humble beginnings to its explosion during the dot com boom. Despite the rapid growth, which has brought amazing new businesses, events, and community events, Los Gatos still maintains that small town feel and still holds its traditional events and many of the same restaurants that I grew up going to. There are tons of block parties, community events and classes, garage/estate sales, and just a great vibe downtown, especially during the summer and any given Sunday at the coffee roaster and farmers market. During the summer months - Music in the park on Sunday evenings and jazz in the Plaz on Wednesdays Tons of walking/running, biking and hiking trails and we are 20 minute drive to downtown Santa Cruz and the boardwalk"

"It’s a beautiful town nestled up on the Santa Cruz Mountains. A great downtown with an old movie theater and great restaurants. The one big downside is all the beach traffic in summer weekends but it’s so walkable just leave your car behind those 13 weekends a year and walk or bike. "
