4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMcNary High School is a great school! The teaching staff overall is a so great, the admin really care about the school and student body, and the staff always go the extra mile. Academics are good, with plenty of types of classes for most interests. The AP courses are well taught, and there are plenty of chances to earn college credit at McNary both with AP and dual enrollment courses. The CTE program is solid, and prepares students for career or college well. The music program is spectacular, with one of the best band programs in the state. Orchestra is great as well, and choir is on the rebound with a new teacher and energy in the program. The school is safe, with a great security staff who really care about students and staff, and solid safety procedures. The athetic program is solid, with an up anne coming football program, and many sports offered. Overall, McNary is a great school and highly recommended!Parent Review1mo ago9 Reviews - Forest Ridge Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageForest Ridge is a great, neighborhood school. I teach in this district. I have a strong understanding of the variety of challenges students and teachers face every day in SKPS. I can absolutely attest that Forest Ridge is one of the best elementary schools in the district. Excellent music programs, caring and thoughtful teachers, and welcoming front office staff.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near Wisdom Ct.

"It’s a working class neighborhood with good people. Although the houses aren’t classified as desirable compared to others, the home owners are very friendly and do their best to maintain their yards. Their homes. It’s very common to see them walk their dogs & greet one another. "

"Lots of dogs out for walks daily. All day long it’s a safe neighborhood to walk even at night. There is a dog park nearby as well as lots of parks in general. West Salem has dog groomers. And pet store. West Salem has a couple vet clinics need by which is always nice when not wanting to cross the bridge for your pet to be seen. Most areas are great to walk around in year around. "
