"I have lived here 3 years and RainTree is a great and quiet place to live. The neighborhood feels safe and there are plenty of great places to walk with views of the golf course. "
  • Kathleen A.
"Some streets have sidewalks some do not. Easy walking for dogs not a lot of thru traffic. Lots of little parks to stop in."
  • Abcmartin33
"I’ve lived in Raintree for over 10 years and love it. Our kids have grown up here with great friends and some of the best schools in the district. Mature trees, beautiful lots and close to parks. We could not ask for more."
  • Abcmartin33
"Close to best schools in Charlotte, no sidewalks, but very safe and friendly area for kids. Lots of parks nearby and shopping"
  • Melissa
"Lots of kiddos. It is a through traffic neighborhood. Lots of schools. Mostly well maintained. We did have our car stolen last year "
  • Dimitri F.
"It's a great community with a lot of versatility, in terms of house size and type. Some are bigger than others, and it goes pretty deep."
  • Michelle E
"our part of the neighborhood is in transition from original owners and young families. On the Strawberry Lane side, everyone is friendly and some of us get together for potlucks and sporting events."
  • Marcumjenn
"Trees everywhere. A couple of times a year, you will see the trees drip and it looks like rain. Nice neighbors. Some are helpful. Many are retired, SAHM, and work from home. "
  • jessiebennett85
"It’s established, beautiful, quiet and safe! There are constantly people walking, running or walking their dogs. You will see deer and geese often. The neighborhood park is great for the kids. It’s nearby a lot of great shopping centers. The schools are amazing! "
  • Larry L.
"I love here because the environment is safe, friendly and nature. Lots of trees, flowers, birds, rabbits and deers."
  • Will G.
"Raintree is a huge planned neighborhood with beautiful landscaping, two golf courses, safe streets and diverse, adorable architecture. It is surrounded by three equidistant shopping centers: Promenade on Providence, Stonecrest, and The Arboretum. It is also just a short drive away from Ballantyne Village and Blakeney shopping centers, and sidewalks connect Raintree to all those popular locations."
  • dchildersqc
"As a child who grew up in the area, I can say from personal experience that there is no better location to raise children. Perfect size basketball court nearly on the property of this house (4813), short walk to a tennis court and full playground, heavily wooded area with creeks supporting beautiful walks, and a full-sized ball field only a short walk away... everything a child needs to open up his/her imagination... all within a faint hollar from the parents to bring their children in for supper. Not to mention the excellent location for schools, grocery shopping, golf, etc. etc. etc... "
