The only complaint really have is that the campus is REALLY dirty. Like if you touch the basketball court in the gym you have to scrub tour hands for 5 minsStudent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Del Dayo Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been extremely pleased with the education my daughter has received at Del Dayo School over the past three years. The school has proven to be an exceptional learning environment, thanks to the dedication and expertise of the Principal and staff.I would like to specifically commend two teachers who have made a significant impact on my daughter's education. Mrs. Andrews, the 4th grade teacher, has consistently demonstrated her passion for teaching and her ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment. Her commitment to her students' growth and learning is truly commendable.Additionally, I would highly recommend Mr. Corcoran, the 6th grade teacher, who has shown a remarkable ability to connect with his students and inspire them to reach their full potential. His enthusiasm for the subjects he teaches is contagious and has fostered a love of learning in my daughter.I am grateful for the positive impact this school has had on my daughter's educational journey.Parent Review2y ago14 Reviews - El Camino Fundamental High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo communication from this school's admin team. The principal Ms. Wilson only cares about a select few children's wellbeing. She will not communicate with you when incidents happen regarding your child even after "investigations" are completed. Vice principals will claim they can't do anything without her approval and spew lies. Some teachers here treat these teens like they are scum, throwing assignments or tests on the floor for them to pick up, throwing away tests as they are turned in, and sharing the score with the whole room. Telling them they are a waste and to just stop trying. How can you be an educator and talk to these kids that way? The disrespect and disregard that this is a person is sick. Athletics is garbage, safe schools won't help, and even the district is out of touch and trash. Skip itParent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Rio Americano High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur two children attended Rio, graduating in 2023 and 2024. The school faculties are in need of a lot of serious upgrading. They lack school counselors. Most of their friends brought drugs with them to school on a regular basis. Both our children took AP courses and played fall, winter and spring sports, so they were very busy. We live close by and they were able to walk to Rio each day. Both are attending a UC now for college.Parent Review8mo ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near Whitehall Way.

"I’ve only been here for three months and I’m just now starting to work. My opinion is immature at this time but I hope with some actual living experience I’ll come to have a fair judgement for this particular area."

"It’s quiet safe and a great school district. I enjoy going on walks in my neighborhood. There are plenty of grocery stores to choose from. Something I’ve learned since having kids is the neighborhood I live in specifically gets together for a parade on Fourth of July. Can’t ask for a better community. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon but I love to look and see what’s available in the neighborhood for family and friends. "

"There is a lot of homeless people around the Arden area particularly off Hurley and Fulton area they don’t seem to cause trouble it’s just hard to explain to family why some guy is sleeping on the sidewalks in front of your house "

"There’s always traffic so you never feel alone. There’s lots of places to eat. Sacramento is a big city so this area wouldn’t be the best place to raise a kid. I like quieter neighborhoods. I do agree that there are a bunch of river access points and parks around here, which is awesome and there are plenty of dog parks."

"The commute is fine, it’s central enough to have fairly quick access to many places in the area. I drive and do not take public transportation, but it seems like there are many bus options nearby. "

Still a good area to live."
