7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at Vermont and couldn't be happier with the atmosphere, staff and parent involvement. The teachers are wonderful educators and people in general. The new principal seems to be a good fit so far and is making the schools more inviting and welcoming. Everyone from the secretary to the librarian to the custodian is very friendly and really look out for our kids.Parent Review14y ago2 Reviews - Wyoming High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children went to WHS. They both took AP courses and could have started college as a sophomores. Their teachers were devoted and responsive. Both of my children are successful (one went to Georgetown University and the other to the University of Notre Dame) and this was a result of their education at WHS. I couldn't have asked for anything more.Parent Review9mo ago9 Reviews - Wyoming Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest came to Wyoming Middle School after attending private school through fourth grade. Honestly, I have to say that WMS does a better job than the private school did. I had concerns about moving to such a small, tight knit community, but the kids have welcomed the new kid right into their group of friends. I'm impressed with the character and kindness of my son's peer group. While the school definitely seeks high academic success, the real secret weapon of WMS is the community. The parents are involved and stress the importance of education at home. Simply, kids go to school with other kids who are expected to behave and perform well at school. The entire community demands and promotes success in the schools. The instruction is straight forward and the teachers are dedicated and kind. Yes, there is some overemphasis on the blasted tests for a month preceding the tests in the Spring, but that is the piece of evidence that everyone looks at when evaluating and comparing schools. It is kind of a necessary evil and honestly, it is the way of the world.Parent Review14y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Waverly Ave.

"Wyoming has a wide diversity of home sizes and families but we all share in common some important things: high value on strong schools, high value on excellent city services, and the willingness to pay for them, no matter what our income level."

"Great community! Hard to find a real community in Cincinnati where people really care for the general welfare of their fellow Wyomingites and sustaining this vibrant, thriving city. The mix of housing and the sidewalks make just walking around interesting. Also, Wyoming has some really great restaurants and stores. "

"This is not that great of a neighborhood as they like to portray. A stray bullet hit my windshield. Smell weed constantly. Hear fighting and gun shots throughout the day."

"It has okay commute to downtown. Tends to be congested with construction traffic. Centrally located. Close to tri county. "

"The canopy of trees in Wyoming is amazing. The neighborhood is friendly and it feels like stepping back into the best part of America's past. Kids walk to school and play together in parks! Classrooms are small and you know your neighbors. Best Town Ever!"

"One of the top public school systems in the country. Walkable neighborhood. Oak Park at the end of the Charlotte Avenue, walk or ride the trail to the pool and Community Center and beyond to the Hamilton County Park. Community Garden is in the other direction walking through Oak Park. Farther along is the Skate Park, then the business section with the Art Center, Public Library, restaurants, and shops. Coming back are the tennis courts. It' not all, explore for yourself. Great place to live. "

"Our daughter lives in Oakley and is considering moving to Wyoming. This area has top rated schools and is an older family oriented neighborhood. Wyoming has quick access to the I71 SR 126 corridors, shopping, and restaurants in Montgomery and Downtown Cincinnati. "
