8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSan Marcos High School is overall a pretty good school, the academics and community are strong, and my son has had mostly positive experiences there. However, I’ve been disappointed with his coach, Alex Turner, who has come across as unprofessional and arrogant in several interactions. His attitude has made it difficult for my son to feel supported and motivated on the team. It’s unfortunate, because with a more respectful and encouraging approach from the coaching staff, the athletic program could be just as impressive as the rest of the school.Parent Review6mo ago32 Reviews - San Marcos Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSan Marcos Middle School is quickly becoming a standout in the community with its dedicated staff and strong academic programs. The teachers are passionate about student success, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Additionally, the school's athletics program is thriving, offering students a chance to excel both in the classroom and on the field. My oldest daughter had a fantastic experience at San Marcos Middle School. She attended 6th though 8th grade and thrived both academically and in sports.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has an IEP and absolutely loves the sensory play, staff, and friends here. Our daughter has made so much progress since starting special education preschool and now has an IEP in a general education classroom we love that and that she is included with kids of all backgrounds, learning styles, and ethnic diversity. We love every teacher as they are so positive and encouraging making school a really fun place to be at drop off and pick up. They also do fun theme days and incorporate a lot of play into Preschool and Pre K. We love that they involve parents in Read to Your Child Fridays every few weeks! Keep it up the positivity and momentum can be really felt by everyone.Parent Review6mo ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Watson Way.

"Dog owners, even on the easements, pick up after your dog. The county pocket lacks adequate street maintenance so it is up to the home owners to clean up what is left behind. And no, we don't want to smell what your dog has been cooking. Exercise your dog to your heart's content but turning a street into a dog toilet is not cool. Be kind, don't empty your dog's behind. "

"My neighborhood participates in a 100% crimefree neighborhood and that is why we liked our place here on Bonair Road near foothill and pretty much close to be able to do any errands under the sun. And pretty close to freeway."

"Super close to the transit station, and Vista Village is beautiful. There’s a nice little trail and stream with ducks all over it near the water park and it’s a nice stroll if you like taking the scenic route. The view from the top of the hill at the apartment complex is to die for."

"Hey it’s ok u will enjoy the quiet and bored nature and it’s good to get out and have more expanse to trek, People here like the quiet life, they dislike disruption and noise. They prefer to keep to themselves. They will report suspicious activity and everyone somewhat knows each other. Be careful with high speed There are kids and animals everywhere"

"Gate communities are the best options, I feel safe within the gated community, but outside I’m a little more cautious. Overall, I feel safe, main concern outside the gate is petty theft. "
