Not the best, a lot of the teachers don’t understand that students learn different ways. It is very much “my way or the highway way”. They don’t have accommodations for students who need extra help and have told me I need to “just figure it out”. They may offer free tutoring but that doesn’t mean the teachers shouldn’t help their students succeed in their class. I have received zero mental health support, last year my dog passed away and I was hyperventilating in my class and went to my counselors. She told me while i was sobbing that I should go back to my class after 10 minutes. She couldn’t get me out of her office fast enough. I’ve had 3 different counselors for every year of highschool and not once have I been called down to talk about my career or check in on mental health. The admin doesn’t care about you unless you’re fighting, smoking, or skipping. They only have a relationship with the “bad” kids and have been rude to students multiple times uncalled for. The only thing this school cares about is the scores. If you’re struggling in classes they won’t check in to see if you need help, they won’t check in on things at home or mental health. I’ve had teachers tell me that when they send kids who are disrespectful in class to the office that all they get told is “there’s nothing we can do about it”. Theres no repercussions for multiple offenses of things like that, no detention or lunch detention, or even block 8 release taken away. So many students at this school feel like they have no one to talk to and that is an issue. For a school who preaches about mental health and anti-bullying they have a funny way of showing it. I’ve been to the office about other girls being mean or making up rumors about me and nothing has happened other than a slap on the wrist.

They won’t excuse your religious holidays and if you have 10 unexcused and 10 excused absences and you get anymore than that guess what… CPS or sent to court don’t send your kids here
