5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a senior in this school I have never felt welcomed by other students due to me being special needs the bullying on this school is a on going problem there is fights like no other kids vape constantly not only that they have are bathroom locked up they only have three out the 5 or 6 bathrooms opened the teachers here have been really supportive it doesn’t really help that i almost got jump my freshman thankfully someone actually did something about it and didn't leave it there was one day where i was walking with my friend that had a hat and a another student snatched it and invaded he's personal space and my friend almost got jumped over a vape she didn't even take this school is some what very unsafe the admin and the staff do a excellent job at helping you through but yeah someone of my teachers don’t advocate my 504 plan that well and I’m excited to leaveStudent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Henderson Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll great intentions with students, not as great execution (in general). Many top notch educators, but way too much turnover. Lack of behavior management and discipline that is not effective long term.Other Review10mo ago5 Reviews - Rhodes Intermediate School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis may be the worst school my daughter has ever attended. They suck the joy out of learning so profoundly, that my child dreads going there every single time. Not because of the students but because of the staff, their bathroom restrictions and punishment for students, and the way the teachers gleefully hand out violations left right and center. My only comfort is my daughter will not be attending next year.Parent Review6mo ago1 Reviews - Jackson Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is the worst place to be in Forney Texas teachers don’t react with children’s young ladies can’t go to the bathroom at that time of the month they hide information . They have staff members as spouses and hide identity of the children’s that belongs to the staff members. they don’t communicate with the parents. they turn the phones off anytime they get ready. They shut down the emails when they get ready. this is not a safe place for your children. The kids, only get one pass to go to the bathroom, which is gonna cause a health problem.Other Review6mo ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Walnut.

"We have lived here for 8yrs. Most impressed with extra wide streets, no hiway or train noise like in other neighborhoods. Easy access to Rockwall or Dallas. Super safe, comfortable letting kids play til dark. Neighborhood crime watch, several online sites to find services right with in the sub-division, regular events w/neighbors like cook outs, pool parties etc. Overall Travis Ranch is an excellent neighborhood to raise kids or retire!
