Hi I'm a 7th grade student at this school, I've had a great time overall with the school and it's teachers. The teacher's really help you to do better and support your mental health. The students though can be really mean, three students in my 6th grade year got expelled, and a whole bunch got suspended. A student from Whitman got expelled and came to Longfellow, skipped most of his classes and littered. But when you find a true friend there it can last a lifetime.

The McKinley community is strong and supportive. Our child has been attending the past 4 years and really loves it. While there have been ups and downs with recent changes in teachers and leadership, I cannot say enough about the families and children who go to this school. There are many opportunities and events for families to get to know one another. Parents are engaged, kids are kind, and teachers really do try their best for all students. The fact that the school is brand new and is a great facility for student learning and safety is an added bonus.

I totally love Wauwatosa West the staff is great and my daughter has really grown a lot since going to this high school I think it’s one of the best schools in Wisconsin.
