Graduated here in 2017. Very mixed feelings about this school: - met some of my best friends here- teachers were mostly nice and reasonable (some bad ones though)- the occasional fight in the lunchroom and hallways- was not prepared for college whatsoever, had no help in deciding a major or what I was interested in (college counselors also not great)Great student life and never saw a lot of bullying.

2 stars. My child is gifted. I provided IQ tests, tests scores, etc I attempted to meet with teachers and staff to get him what he needed to learn at a pace like everyone else. For 2 years we got almost no resources for him. When talking with the Principal, she told me , "by 3rd grade, the other kids will catch up." I got out of the district as fast as I could. I got to another district with great GT programs. My son, now in the 3rd grade, has the highest tests scores in the district. He is being put in a full time accelerated GT program. I'm glad I got out of the school whose solution to his giftedness was to have him learn nothing for 3 years so other children could catch up.

Overall, this school is a pretty good one. The content level is on par if not higher than what it should be and the teachers are friendly. Sometimes the kids can be mean, but when a teacher hears them say/do something bad or mean they do something about it. I think this school is a very welcoming one, they have lots of different people there and offer lots of extracurricular activities such as drama club, book club, chess, and other sports like basketball and track. The school is very clean and is well taken care of and the students are respectful of their surroundings. They give a valid amount of homework, some days you won't have any and some days you have 4 classes of homework (at most). The school also likes hosting fun events such as family night, or badminton for Brooke. All of these events are family inclusive and really fun to attend (I speak from experience). All in all, if you are thinking about coming to this school, I think you should. It is easy to make good and quality friends here and the education is good. I have learned loads from this school and there is rarely any violence (plus the cafeteria food is good ;)) Again, this place is very welcoming and I recommend looking into it if you are looking for schools in enroll in!
