Glen View Elementary has been awarded academic achievement awards and a Santa Clara County teacher of the year award. Students are engaged using Common Core standards to facilitate 21st Century learning skills. As a teacher employed with Gilroy Unified, I choose to send my children to this great school. Teachers are given support through curriculum, collaboration and mentoring. Leadership at Glen View is impeccable and committed to your child. My children feel supported academically and emotionally. Students are challenged in English language skills, Mathematics and Science through innovative classroom techniques and technology mastered through computer skills. Students have access to Google Classroom through the use of Chrome Books (laptops) and other devices to challenge and prepare them for the future. When you arrive on campus at Glen View Elementary, be prepared for the welcoming and encouraging attitude that permeates the corridors. Principal Sapien will be there to welcome you and your children to school. You'll find that the teachers have the greatest respect and care for you kids. You will recognize that Glen View commits to the development of your children. "It has everything - great restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, coffee shops, outlet stores and more! It is close to beaches, trails, parks, camp sites. Schools, churches, hospitals and markets are close by. There’s a cinema, golf course, theme park, art center and Caltrain station. You will feel welcome when you move in."

"Depends on where and when the commute is. There are windows during the peak commuting hours that allow reasonable commute times into central Silicon Valley. The Peninsula and the East Bay are over an hour, as is San Francisco. "

"Great new park, new construction houses, great wineries close by, accessible highways, well balanced demographic and ethnic base. Schools nearby including some good private and charter schools. Police is active and responsive, strong fire response system. Many new public amenities under development so great time to get in."
