4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI GREW TO LOVE THE SCHOOL. AT FIRST WHEN MY CHILD ATTENDED IN PRE K, I GOT A PHONE CALL EVERYDAY OR EVERY OTHER DAY. KINDER WAS A WHOLE LOT BETTER. THE DUFFEREBCE WAS MY CHILD SEEN THE DIFFERENCE HIS TEACHER MADE WITHIN THE CLASS ND ACTED OUT. HE FELT AS IF THE TEACHER DIDNT LIKE HIM. I AS A PARENT WAS NOT NOTIFIED WHEN THE CLASS/SCHOOL WOULD DO SOMETHING SPECIAL AND HE WOULD BE ONE OF THE FEW STUDENTS THAT WOULDNT PARTICIPATE, SO HE FELT LEFT OUT. ONCE I GOT THE HINT OF WHAT WAS GOING ON, SCHOOL WAS ALMOST OUT. 1ST GRADE MY BABY DID ABOVE AND BEYOND. HE PARTICIPATED IN ALMOST EVERYTHING AND I HAD MAYBE 2 TO 3 PHONE CALLS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR. PLUS HE GOT STUDEBT OF THE MONTH LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR. SO, IT IS SHOWING HIS PRE-K TEACHER DID NOT LIKE MY BABY!!!!! IM COOL WIT IT THO CAUSE GOD GOT US!!!!! IT WAS THE TEACHER NOT THE SCHOOL. I LOVE JENSEN!!! LETS SEE HOW 2ND GRADE GO!!!!!! I ALSO CAME TO THE CONCLUSION, THAT IF WE PARTICIPATE AS PARENTS, YOUR CHILD WILL BE MORE HAPPY WITHIN THEIR SOULS, AT LEAST MINE IS. EVEN THOUGH MY BABY ISNT PERFECT, AND IT WAS A FEW INSTANCES WITH HIM AND OTHER STUDENTS, HE STILL MAINTAINED A GREAAAT ATTITUDE AND POSITIVE MINDSET!!!THE SCHOOL ITSELF, CONSTANTLY HAVE ACTVITIES INCLUDING PARENTS AS WELL. FOR INSTANCES FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCES, MOTHER/SON DANCE, WHICH WAS A FIRST, BUT ONCE ENOUGH MOTHERS STARTED TO BE VOCAL, THEY HEARD US AND MADE IT HAPPEN!!! I LOVE THIS!!!! THE DISCIPLINE AT THE SCHOOL I FEEL IS APPROPIATE FOR THE AGES OF OUR BABIES, IF IT'S NOT FAIR TO SOME PARENTS, THEN IT HAVE TO BE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON CAUSE THEY TRY TO BE AS FAIF AS POSSIBLE, I BE WATCHING WHEN THEY THINK I DON'T!!!THEN THE PRE-K TEACHER FORCED MY CHILD TO DO HIS WORK WITH THE CRAYONS HE BROKE UP THAT I BOUGHT!!! I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT BECAUSE MY CHILD FINGERS WAS HURTING, AND IF I BOUGHT A MILLION OF THEM AND HE BROKE ALL BUT ONE, GIVE HIM THAT LAST ONE, YOU AIN'T BUY NOTHING, GIVE MY BABY HIS STUFF THAT HIS MAMA BOUGHT!!! OTHER THAN PRE-K HE'S MASTERING THIS THING CALLED ELEMENTARY!!!! THANKS JENSEN FOR THE PATIENCE AND CONCERNS WITH ALL OUR CHILDREN!!!!!!!Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - Park View Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would like to praise Mr. Santos. He is a great example of what it means to be a teacher. You can see his passion for his subject not only in the way he teaches, but also in the way he talks about his students and how much he wants them to learn and succeed.Overall, the school is good, but there are a few areas that could be improved—particularly in how some teachers interact with students and how they approach them in different situations especially there delivery.Parent Review3mo ago3 Reviews - Pasadena Memorial High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs someone whose family has attended Pasadena Memorial High School for three generations, I’ve witnessed firsthand the dramatic decline in the spirit and integrity of the baseball program. What was once a proud and competitive team built on hard work, coaching, and camaraderie has now become a selective club driven by favoritism and convenience.Today’s coaching staff appears more interested in recruiting players from deer Park, Pearland, select teams or families who contribute financially or volunteer extensively, rather than developing raw talent from within the student body. If a student hasn’t played on a select team or doesn’t have parents actively involved in supporting the program, their chances of making the team are slim—regardless of potential. This approach not only discourages aspiring athletes but undermines the very foundation of high school sports: growth, teamwork, and opportunity. Coaches now prioritize players who already know the game, making minimal effort to teach, mentor, or build team chemistry. The result is a fractured program lacking unity, development, and the competitive edge it once had.The contrast between the early 2000s and today is stark. Back then, coaches invested in their players, cultivated talent, and fostered a winning culture. That commitment is gone. Until the coaching staff returns to the fundamentals of teaching and team-building, the baseball program will continue to fall short—and the trophy hall will remain a relic of what once was.Parent Review8mo ago7 Reviews - Marshall Kendrick Middle

"When I moved to Pasadena my bike got stolen from my backyard the first day we moved in Every time I try to walk in the neighborhood there are multiple aggressive off leash dogs wherever I go making walking my own dog impossible Can’t wait to move out of here "

"I think that dog owners would like to know that there are loose dogs. Due to this issue it is wise to keep your dogs leashed."

"Horrible. Hopefully the construction off the beltway is near completion but it doesn’t look like it. The 5pm traffic is horrendous with the feeder only open for one lane. "

"mostly hispanic neighbors, half of them can only speak in broken English, but they are all very nice and helpful and non-judgmental. family values, parks, family owned taquerias, home owners really seem to be proud of their houses and put a lot of effort into upkeep and renovations (save for a few white trash homes!) "Dog owners would have enough backyard for their dogs. They also have lots of areas for walking their dogs outside if their houses. People here respect animals. Never seen anybody hurting animals on purpose, unless they are stupid enough to get into some danger to themselves. "
