8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this high school in 2009. I have since gone on to receive a bachelor's degree and master's degree at two well-regarded state universities. I have had a successful career and worked for employers across the United States. My income as a single-earner has roughly matched the average income of a full Minnesota household my entire career. I have always had sufficient money to travel, pay for housing, eat well, cover medical bills, and enjoy life. I cannot speak to the quality of this school in recent years, but I thought other parents might be interested to learn about the long-term outcome for Irondale graduates. For others in the class of 2009: I can say authoritatively that five of my peers went on to have roughly the same professional trajectory as my own. We have master's degrees, make good money, and are able to enjoy the best parts of life. I can also think of two people who went on to receive undergraduate degrees, but did not have good professional outcomes. Today, they work in the hospitality industry. All in all, that is 6 out of 8 of people I personally know from this high school went on to enjoy the best parts of life. The remaining 2 out of 8 deserved a better outcome.Other Review1y ago8 Reviews - Sunnyside Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSunnyside has been a wonderful school for our family for the past five years. The teachers are amazing (all have had masters/specialty degrees) and truly seem to love teaching and care deeply about the kids in their classrooms. The academics are challenging but not too overwhelming or stressful. There is a positive focus on school community and mental health, which is so important to instill in early grades. Music programs (band/orchestra) are great! I am shocked that the school is rated so low on this site; we have had an excellent experience at Sunnyside!Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Pike Lake Kindergarten Center

"The reason I live here is because It’s by my job. I lives here 15 years ago and it was not as diverse so I moved. Now it’s more diverse so I like it better. There is a bus route and a walking trail, nice lakes and parks. "

"There are always dogs walking around outside and people clean up after their dogs. Everyone in the neighborhood and around town are friendly and always smile. When you walk by people outside they wave or say hello and greet you. I feel very safe and welcomed in this area. I hope everyone else who lives here and or moves here enjoys this neighborhood. "

"The neighborhood is clean and well maintained. Neighbors are very friendly. We have packages delivered every week all year round and have never had any problems and never had any stolen. Small business are not at all supported here. Which is a shame."

"Small town vibe in a suburb/city area, 15 minutes away from a Target or grocery store so not too far but far enough that you feel a little secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city which is nice"

"The location was key for me. I wanted to be close to everything, but have more of a residential feel. I like that there are a bunch of parks near by and yet all my shopping convenience is just as close. Price is right and space is fantastic. "
