So far, EJ Blott has been a wonderful educational experience for both my daughters. Caring staff of professionals who genuinely seem to care about the welfare of their students and their families.

We've had to pull one of our children from the district because of safety concerns. The elementary staff is mostly unconcerned and uncaring. Management goes above and beyond denying there's any issues. Hope you can get two or three of the caring teachers there for your children. As for the High School, there's very aggressive boosters in parents who are very demanding and ran out a fine Band Director. Management is all about football at this school and it garners all the attention. They seem more concerned with trips and social events than actually educating students there. Their state report card score is equivalent to the low performing city district adjacent to the community. Open enrollment makes up close to half of enrollment now and it's getting worse. The school board seems only concerned with how much money they can bring into the district. There are NO honors classes or gifted programs. It's so frustrating as a parent living in this community as education does not seem to be their priority. I seriously recommend not even moving to the community let alone enrolling your children in the district.

We're extremely happy with the education, faculty, staff and values of this school.
