"I dnt like the area it’s bad, I’m trying to move because of the crime rate & murders. I’m too old to have to worry about my safety"
  • Mendozabetty156

"Curb the dogs. It’s spoken about negatively but if you stay to yourself it’s not a problem. The neighborhood may not be the best but it’s livable "
  • Sonjaelise427
"Nothing really, I honestly hate this neighborhood and I can’t wait to move ASAP. There’s nothing to do, and crime every single day. No stores within walking distance and very dangerous. Walk around at night and you’re asking to get hurt and/or robbed. "
  • Frankowens901
"Stapleton is noted for festivals, parades, places of worship and supper clubs. We have multiple modes of transportation and we're close to the Verrazano Bridge and other bridges. "
  • Tyshawn B.
"we have a community center.that all the kids go to. we also have other after school programs. watch movies and clean the park "
  • Claude Sheffield.
"I moved to Stapleton from Brooklyn last year thinking if I could handle Brooklyn I could handle anything, boy was I wrong. There was constant shootings in the area, stabbings, drug addicts walking at all hours of the night, gangs walking around in the middle of the day, people play dice on Gordon street and it always erupts in big brawls and shootouts, 4 people were shot just on my block alone one fatally. My house and car were both broken into and what I'm guessing an addict broke my window to steal my change cup, the bars are ok but very scary after about 10pm. People stand in the street and look at you like you're crazy for trying to get past, homeless is a big issue. Ive lived in Bushwick and Williamsburg Brooklyn but this neighborhood in Staten island is like the Brownsville or south Bronx of Staten island. Avoid at all costs, especially Stapleton & Clifton."
  • Simplemobilen
"Clean and quiet The bus is next to my house now far from the ferry to Manny grocery store no fun from the highway"
  • Jianymovesyou
"Neighbors private parties.. birthdays and summer bbq. Attended 3 different parties in the first year that we move here. "
  • Dubaby
"Close to all transportation...bus and train access ...5 minutes to Verrazano Bridge and 15 minute or less to ferry.."
  • Not S.
"is drug infested neighborhood and gang violence you're likely to get robbed at night walking around this neighborhood"
  • Samanthapresil214
"Close to all transportation including Staten Island rail road and basic necessities. Also close to the water which is nice. "
  • Londik
"And it is not called Clifton it is Stapleton Village quaint area hidden away from busy streets landmark homes as well"
  • Hericson T.
"Rosebank is a very convenient location. Within 10 minutes from the Verrazano Bridge and Staten Island Ferry. This property is located between Tompkins Avenue and Bay Street. The block is mixed between older large homes and mostly newer construction Townhomes. On the Bay Street corner you have the Staten Island Railroad train station. The Railroad takes you to the Staten Island or down to the tip of the South Shore in Tottenville. Bay Street is packed with plenty of shopping, entertainment, transportation, etc. There is a Post Office located on Tompkins Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue (just 3 blocks away). "
