Affordable way to enjoy the water without the sticker shock. Long Lake is located north of Hillman in Montmorency County. It is 1.8 miles long and 294 acres. The deepest point is 90 feet and it has pike, bass, perch and walleye for plenty of fishing. Long Lake is also an all-sport lake for swimming and boating fun with an island in the middle with nesting loons in the spring. Lots of wildlife can be seen all around this beautiful up north lake. Hillman is two hours north of Saginaw between Gaylord and Alpena.

We're into our second school year here. After the government shutdowns where we lived before, this school system was refreshing! The staff work so hard to assist EVERY student and give support whether they need it academically or behaviorally. They personally make each child feel safe and important.
