6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with P.S. 335 extends from K to 1st grade, hardly enough to extrapolate from -- to the entire school. I can say however, that Ms. Santiago (first grade teacher) is outstanding The level of the recent K - 1 Spelling Bee was commendably high, reflecting interest and effort on the part of students, teachers and administrationOther Review12y ago3 Reviews - Brooklyn Green School (The)

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy seventh grader has had a very positive experience since starting here in 2023. When he began sixth grade his math scores had been low and he lacked confidence in it. We found that he quickly improved here through academic rigor and personalized attention, and now math is one of his strongest subjects, right after science. Not only that, but he now really seems to enjoy it.I have found the school leadership to be strong, present and very capable. They make concerted, ongoing efforts to connect with parents, not merely in a superficial way, but one which fosters real dialogue. They are proactive about preparing families for the high school application process. The advisory groups provide great support, too. There a variety of extracurricular activities. The school hosts many family events and the kids frequently go on field trips. In short, we are very happy with BKG.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near Utica Ave.

"This area is now called crown heights. We are located on the other side of Eastern Pkwy. Atlantic ave is a border. We are up the hill. Not a dangerous neighborhood but people will litter all over your property. Dog litter everywhere. Trash from corner bodegas everywhere. I hate that about this community. "

"There are lots of dog parks both official and unofficial, where you can have your dog off leash before 9am or after 9pm. It's important to understand that it's not ok to let your dog pee or poop on sidewalk trees. Homeowners here take a lot of pride in their trees and gardens and letting your dog relieve itself on their property (even if you clean it up) is considered deeply disrespectful."
