If you send your child to this school, make sure to spend time volunteering. Teaching staff tend to use public humiliation as a tool to control the students, and you have to be present to see this and hear this. Several parents have removed their children in the past few years because of the way the teachers (especially the head teacher and his wife) talk to the students. Know that students will leave this school academically totally unprepared for any other academic environment. Make sure you have a lot of time to spend homeschooling them after school and on weekends, or they will be academically behind, as all students at this school are academically behind (hence the 4 out of 10 great schools rating). The only strengths this school has are the small K-8 two room environment and the outdoor program. These things are great for kids in k-5, but students should not attend this school past 5th grade, since they don't learn much while they are here and their self-esteem takes a big hit because of the negativity of all of the adults working here. The school board just does not care. They don't do anything to look at why the school is failing or how to improve it. Stick with Sisters El and Sisters Middle. Your child will have a much better experience. The bad far outweighs the good.
