6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school and I graduated last year. I was constantly bullied and when I went to administration they made it seem as though it was MY fault this happened and defend the bullies. Also, the principal never engages with students or parents unless it’s convenient at open house, assemblies, graduation, etc. However, I had really nice and supportive teachers overall. But, my mental health was damaged from feeling humiliated when I was bullied and was laughed at by a group of kids after something was thrown at my head. These administrators don’t care about your child’s wellbeing or mental health whatsoever! Glad I finally graduated from this place.Other Review2y ago14 Reviews - Illinois School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIllinois is a good school and my children have thrived here. Although I do think that staff could go a bit further in making certain that students are doing well both academically and personally and understanding any other issues going on. Other than that this is a nice school and a nice environment for children.Other Review7y ago6 Reviews - Arcadia Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Arcadia. The teachers are experienced and run their classrooms like a well oiled machine. The curriculum is rigorous and prepares students for the next phase of education. The accelerated program can compete with any other school, public or private. My students are happy and excited about learning.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Indiana Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school. My child is in gifted and chorus and every experience is enriching. The staff are truly invested in the kids and Dr. Covington is wonderful and treats the children as her own. My son enjoys the school and has never had any problems even though he's a minority in the school. Great control of behavior and great learning environment!!Other Review9y ago7 Reviews - O W Huth Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm writing a review from what I've researched and experienced as a student there. I myself say (and this is just my personal opinion) that Huth is an OK school. Now if you are thinking about sending your child there to achieve vast academic goals and hoping for educational opportunities...DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO HUTH! The students there are very immature and misbehaved...although the school is majority black I believe 90% and I'm saying this as a black student myself. The teachers aren't the kind and caring type either some will talk about your child (Or if you are a soon to be student, I hope not, than you) behind his or her back. Now the activities are fun so that's one good thing. One thing to know about the students is they are very um how do I say this...cliquish...the mainly stay to themselves or they're group so if you have plans as a student to make a million friends go ahead and trash them cause I'm a brutally honest person and what i'm telling you is the truth...they will not just let you in and except you, you have to work to be accepted. The area in which the school is located is Matteson (I don't exactly know if the area would be considered trashy but I personally don't like it). Now lets talk bus riders...I'm a bus rider myself and one thing to know is you have to get up EARLY...the students on the bus are misbehaved and immature also...they speak profanity and talk about...um...inappropriate things so I would suggest (If you don't want to be in an over sized yellow vehicle with a bunch of misbehaving kids) be a car rider. All that to say this...DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD TO HUTH PLEASE TAKE IT FROM ME!!Student Review1y ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near Treehouse Rd.

"Quite and friendly neighborhood. Most of the neighbors came and introduced themselves shortly after moving in. 2 fishing ponds that can be walked around and caught some nice fish as well. Honestly haven’t explored all of the community but from what I have is nice. Some homes could using some spruce of up but almost every neighborhood dose. "
