"I've lived here for 2 years and love it. Just a 2 min. walk to the Island Pines Golf Course clubhouse and the friendliest neighbors in the world. I's like living in the country, but having all the amenities of a big city."
    • Ronnie M.
"I telework so I can’t comment on commuting issues. Had no problems getting to West Palm Beach for early morning appointments. "
    • Calcanolee
"Nice neighbors. Mind their own business. Not many community events. Although, there is a park and a well maintained area that people meet up at pretty often. "
    • Crystal E.
"I love this neighborhood for a multitude of reasons such as: great parks, ball fields, pool, sidewalks for biking n blading, buses to travel. "
    • Crystal E.
"There r a grand amount of parks, ball fields that r free n swimming pool (minimum monies required) ! Buses just started recently n decent amount of police caring for safety in neighborhoods! 😉"
    • Sharkeycrystal
"Idk of any!! Sadly maybe soccer games n ball games but that’s bout it! Wish there was more I have an autistic 5 yr old boy that would love to tend"
    • Crystal E.
"Great, pretty much near majority of daily/weekly needs one family has! Would recommend it to most families "
    • Tsewell2@msn.com
"There are a lot of dogs in this neighborhood. The people are very friendly and watch out for each other"
    • Trulia User
"Good for families. Quiet neighborhood. Lakes for fishing and feeding ducks. A couple parks with small playgrounds."
    • JimandtrishCox
"We all watch out for each other!!! We all treat each other like extended family!!! Our friend accross the street helps us out when our lawn gets a little high, Danny comes over and cuts our grass. We couldn't ask for better friends!!!!"
    • Teighlorpope
"Alot of people let their dogs go out to use the restroom without putting them on a leash, not very good in my opinion especially for the dogs that wander off into the street or go toward people and/or children."
    • Teighlorpope
"lots of nearby stores, restaurants and lakes. Two parks also, and one even has a swimming pool. I lived here for many years and it is a nice area but bad people inhabit it. My father's house was robbed multiple times and he even had an alarm system sign out front."
    • Carrier
"We all have dogs here! We have 2 huge Great Danes! Everyone around us owns a dog, chickens or something! "
    • Melodiegolden24
"I don’t live in Lakewood Park. But off Indrio. 5 min to I95. Construction at Indrio & Kings Hwy. Overall, not bad. "
    • Roland O.
"Good volunteer security program, with Sheriff's Dept. vehicle, quiet, recently re-paved streets, many amenities, just look out for older drivers!"
    • sanperf
"Excellent family nieghborhood to be enjoyed by singles, couples or retirees. Lovely golf course setting just a couple streets away. Exellent schools, close to shopping, gas, drug stores, all amenities. Would highly recommend area and this fairly priced home."
