8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had a very good experience with Dolvin. My daughter has been there for 3 years. She’s had very sweet and compassionate teachers each year. My daughter received an IEP at Dolvin and the process was very smooth. I can’t think of anything that they could work on at this time.Parent Review4y ago13 Reviews - Autrey Mill Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are an Autrey Mill Middle School family with two of our three children having attended so far, and our experience has been exceptional. The teachers and staff are highly engaged and communicative, and we’ve always felt well informed about academics, safety, and what’s happening at the school. What really stands out is how well AMMS supports different learning styles. My first child was very independent, while my second needed more hands-on guidance—and both have thrived. Between academic intervention, enrichment opportunities, and strong social-emotional learning, students are truly met where they are and supported as individuals.Over the years, through orientations and school events, we’ve met many teachers, and you really get what you see. Teaching styles vary—some teachers are more structured and rigorous (especially in accelerated courses), while others are more flexible. I actually see this as a strength, as it teaches students how to adapt to different expectations, personalities, and challenges—skills they’ll need well beyond the classroom. The school also does a thoughtful job supporting transitions—not just from elementary to middle school, but in preparing students academically and personally for high school. There is a sense of continuity and consistency year over year, and it’s clear that teachers genuinely care about student growth.Beyond academics, AMMS encourages responsibility, confidence, and leadership. The student body is diverse and generally kind, and while issues do come up—as they do everywhere—they are addressed promptly and thoughtfully. Our children are also involved in clubs across music, sports, science, and business, which has helped them build strong foundations.Overall, we feel fortunate to be part of the AMMS community.Parent Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Johns Creek High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a Johns Creek High School family and have had a very positive experience. What stands out most is how the school encourages students to take ownership of their education and future goals. Students are expected to be independent, manage their workload, and advocate for themselves, with support available when needed. As a minority family, we have experienced JCHS as a diverse and inclusive community. Our children have felt respected and supported, and we have not encountered negative sentiment related to background or culture. The student body is diverse, and interactions are generally respectful.Academically, the school offers strong rigor and meaningful choice through advanced coursework, while also providing support when students need to adjust or refocus. Teaching styles vary, especially in higher-level classes, which helps students learn how to adapt to different expectations—an important real-world skill.Socially, our child has been able to build friendships across different groups, and we’ve appreciated the sense of community among families as well. Parents are supportive of one another, help when transportation or coordination is needed, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know many great families along the way.Overall, with strong academics, diverse friendships, and clear expectations, Johns Creek High School prepares students well for what comes next.Parent Review2mo ago43 Reviews - Check out schools near Trace.

"It’s a super safe area! I went to high school here and walked every where. A lot more people live here now compared to when I was in high school so that equals more cars on the road but it’s still as safe as it’s ever been! "

"I have lived in this area for more than five years, my parents have been living here for more than 15 years. It is one of the best areas to live in - although, over priced in comparison to how you feel about this town - not all communities are equal - some are mediocre, some middle of the road, some are affluent and beautiful- there are some which are ridiculously priced for what they offer 👎🏼"
