I have since improvement over the last couple of years. The new principal and teachers seem to be taking AG North in the right direction. Most of the teachers seem to take an interest in helping the students, but some struggling students seem to fall through the cracks. I feel that at least the students going into eighth grade should be able to have choices for the classes they will take the following year. Currently, they are given a schedule without any input on what they want or what interests them. By doing this, it may better prepare them for their transition to the high school and their future. I think it would also benefit the students by having a brief homeroom period at the end of the day. This would allow the students to get any necessary items from their lockers or put things away that they don't need to take home instead of carrying heavy, unnecessary books, etc. home every day. It would also give them an opportunity to go see a teacher if they have questions about something. Although communication is improving, especially with the implementation of Wednesday folders, I was very disappointed when I did not receive a reply from an email I sent to a teacher.

After coming from a Washington county school district, I feel this school is very below average in teaching and caring for the students.

Not a school for Good children it will ruin their morals....
