3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had 2 graduate from South Gwinnett and the last one is a sophomore. This school has provided a great education for my children as both of my kids were prepared for college and received free college education. Dr Jordan has done a fantastic job cleaning the school up and making it a great place of learning. I know some complain because they can't continue with the foolishness but it'd definitely a great thing. I would definitely recommend this school because they prepare the whole child.Parent Review1mo ago35 Reviews - Snellville Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't know who wrote these bogus reviews with 4 and 5 starss.....probably the teachers but this school needs plenty of help. Fights at school very frequently probably like two per week. Discombobulating dysfunctional. Definitely getting my child out of the school.Parent Review7mo ago20 Reviews - Norton Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has changed tremendously since the last principal left. Most of the staff not all, but a significant portion are extremely rude, and as an African American woman, the attitude and dismissiveness I have experienced from several staff members is absolutely unacceptable. I have three children who have all attended Norton, and I have lived in Snellville for more than 15 years. Over time, I have seen both the area and some of the schools decline. Concerns are often left unanswered or unresolved unless you take further action, such as reaching out to the district. The school also lacks diversity among staff, and there should be a stronger effort to reflect and represent the student population. At this point, I am planning to move by 2027, as I am done with the schools in this area. I strongly encourage leadership to either provide additional coaching for staff or consider necessary changes where appropriate. These children are our future and deserve better examples and a more respectful, responsive environment.Parent Review3mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near Temple Johnson Rd.

"No access to public transportation. Major companies buying up houses to turn into rentals. 50/50 ratio of friendly / non-friendly neighbors. (Most friendly are home owners.). Good access to groceries and pharmacies (10 min or less drive). Too much development."
