This school is terrible the kids dont feel safe anymore and these people that are teaching are now bullying students

We recently moved to Taylorsville in late January 2014 after loosing our home in Harrisburg, NC to a fire. I had had children in the elementary school in Harrisburg since 1991 and had a strong relationship with the faculty and staff at that school. I was concerned to leave Harrisburg as my now 29 and 25 year old children had gone there years ago and some of the same great staff was there. In researching communities within an hour or so drive of Harrisburg, I came across the town of Taylorsville, NC and it seemed like a very nice place, as a widow, to raise my four younger children ages 7 to 12. I checked information out on Great Schools and found out that my three youngest would be attending Ellendale Elementary. I have one word to describe Ellendale and that is "AMAZING". Had I known what loving and caring folks I would find at Ellendale Elementary, I would have moved here years ago. The entire staff is outstanding. It's so obvious when you walk in the door that everyone there loves and is concerned about your children and their education. Three months later, my children are still thanking me for bringing them to Ellendale Elementary. Great school and great folks!!!
