Gently sloping, wooded lot with possible views toward the top of tract 11 by the pasture fence. An old logging road cuts through the lot and could make for a mostly level building site. Owners have used the land for hunting in the past. Tract 12 has a spring with two reservoirs that is shared by 2-3 neighbors. No POA, deed restrictions, or restrictive covenants. No written road maintenance agreement is in place, but neighbors verbally agree to share maintenance expenses according to distance from the beginning of Jesse Brown Rd. No current agreement or maintenance plan is in place for snow removal. Road sustained some damage during Hurricane Helene and has received initial repairs. It is on the Samaritan's Purse list for free permanent repairs. Roadbed is intact, but is steep and rough in spots.

Terrible principal. Only has his interest at heart. If you don’t know somebody and your child is bullied you better just forget it because they’re not gonna be backed up. If you are an important person in their society or you’re a teacher, whose child goes there then you’re golden. Otherwise, you have no back up.

"I am a biz owner here & have seen things change dramatically in past 12 years. No long-term rental housing unless you are a student or uber-wealthy, and you don't own a pet. Completely over-saturated with corporate-owned, short-term Air BnB's & VRBO's. Summer traffic is unreal along with roadwork. Tourists can be incredibly rude & the Mack trucks, semis & loggers on the 2-lane highways are dangerous. Need to own a helicopter or be one of the uber-wealthy who has access to the golf club heli to & from the airport. "

"I’m retired, no commute. However, the college provides a lot of traffic. This improves in the summer months, and the time between thanksgiving and the new year. It’s a small price to pay to live in this area."

"There are plenty of dogs in the neighborhood so you feel like everyone is a dog lover. My dog ran in someone else’s yard and they just said what a cutie. Some people get mad about it but seems like everyone is super friendly in the sunny graves "

"I live in college housing in town, so it is very accessible via walking or bus. However, I have lived in neighborhoods further away from downtown. In those neighborhoods, it is much more necessary to have a car. But I’m all areas, everyone is cautious of walkers, and I always have felt safe walking my dog, both at night and during the day (even as a female). "
