"Lots of events for the community that are hosted by the city. In addition several local churches and groups support the citizens in the areas the city can’t. "
    • Amanda B.
"Sidewalks The fact that my neighborhood has sidewalks make it super special so many places out here don’t have sidewalks"
    • Karla L.
"I loves from Dallas to Red Oak and we’re not moving back. Yes it’s less crowded then the city but , the schools are good. The people are nice, it quiet, and it’s the country! Big win!! We love it by 9:30 the streets are quiet. It’s a good place to have kids. To go to major stores you have to go to Waxahachie 15 min drive. "
    • Karla L.
"I moved to Red Oak 2 years ago, and I love it! It’s quiet and safe. The schools are good, and the parks are well kept. Just that they aren’t many stores here. You have to drive about 15 min to Waxahachie to get to retail. "

"Some neighbors let their dogs out unleashed and they come into your yard to do their business or run up to your dogs when you’re taking your own out. I’ve had to pull mine in a few times to avoid aggression. "
