"This town is quiet, restful, peaceful and has friendly people, many of whom are involved in the community as volunteers. Although not many, the area has some excellent non-franchise eating places. Although snow sticks around longer than lower Michigan, the weather is mild and it never really gets hot enough for AC. Retirees like this place, but it is difficult to find any jobs. Good place for an entrepreneur or people who work from home."
