Top-notch school. Updated curriculums moving away from older books in many classes. Great course selection and college credit opportunities. Many clubs. Too much emphasis on athletics, we wish more of those funds were spent on academics and academic oriented programs like robotics and technical classes which are restricted in their ability to learn and explore due to limited finances. Not very diverse but people tend to be open and respectful of other cultures.

I went to this school and it was the worst 3 years of my life. The teachers are mostly nice, but there's a few that are not fit to work in a school environment. The school responds poorly to suggestions. It's unsanitary. There's literally a giant hole in the tech bathroom walls with dead rats in them. The meat in the food is uncooked. And overall they tried to get us to give them money because they lack the planning to operate a school year round and people don't want to pay there taxes.

We love love love GES. My daughter started K in 2019, and the school made a seamless transition online. She’s been back in person for two years. There are several family/community events. The school counselor goes above and beyond. Equipment and supplies are updated, and every teacher we’ve experienced has been extraordinary. The principal knows many kids by name, bc he wants to be seen as a positive authority, not only someone you see when you’re “bad.”
