The school has always underperformed academically. My child is usually always struggling when attending. Mediocre.

They just push your children along regardless of their academic standing. A doctors diagnosis means nothing, even with it documented on their IEP. They will make their own decision without you as their parent to remove items from an IEP that they don’t want to accommodate. Their response for not giving your disabled child a fair education is that they don’t have the funding. Disgusting and heartless people.

Our family’s experience with Pasco Middle School was unacceptable.The school consistently demonstrated poor communication, inconsistent decision-making, and a lack of accountability when serious concerns were brought forward. Rather than conducting thorough, impartial investigations, it often felt as though conclusions were reached before all of the facts had been gathered. As a parent, I repeatedly found myself having to advocate simply to ensure my child’s safety. The bare minimum of any school should be safety. Families should not have to fight for transparency or basic communication. Parents deserve timely updates, honest answers, and confidence that concerns involving their children will be handled fairly and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.If your child requires additional support, fair treatment, or thoughtful problem-solving from school administration, I encourage you to stay heavily involved and document every interaction. Based on our experience, I would not assume that concerns will be handled thoroughly without persistent parental advocacy.I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other parents deserve an honest account of our experience before entrusting this school with their child.One of the most telling outcomes for our family was what happened after my son left Pasco Middle School. After transferring to another school, his GPA increased by an entire point. While every student’s situation is different, that change reinforced our belief that the environment at Pasco Middle School was not allowing him to succeed academically or personally.
